Section 159 Evidence Act 2011
Section 159 Evidence Act 2011 is titled ‘Presumption as to sealing and delivery‘. It is under Part X (PRESUMPTIONS AND ESTOPPEL) of the Act. It states as follows:
When any document purporting to be, and stamped as, a deed, appears or is proved to be or to have been signed and duly attested, it is presumed to have been sealed and delivered although no impression of a seal appears on it.
