Section 207 Evidence Act 2011
Section 207 Evidence Act 2011 is titled ‘Absence of religious belief does not invalidate oath‘. It is under Part XII (TAKING OF ORAL EVIDENCE AND EXAMINATION OF WITNESSES) of the Act. It states as follows:
Where an oath has been duly administered and taken, the fact that the person to whom the same was administered had, at the time of taking such oath, no religious belief, does not for any purpose affect the validity of such oath.
